The 38th edition of the great Chinese Kickboxing series of events: Kunlun Fight (Kunlun Fight 38 – KF38) will take place on 21st February 2016 in Pattaya, Thailand, such as the first edition held around 2 years ago (News);  this edition is organized in collaboration with Buakaw’s new series of events: Super Muay Thai.

Kunlun Fight keeps growing and is always more popular to the expert and the combat sports audience; the brand is actually growing very quickly and in just 2 years it has become one of the most important Kickboxing promotions of the World. Unfortunately the events are almost all only held in Asia and aired on Thai and Chinese TV circuits, that exclude almost all the world’s audience; but fortunately in these days the KF’s management signed an agreement with AM Production (of Amidou Mezidi), that will stream all Kunlun Fight’s events in Europe (Kunlun Fight Europe), Latin America , Middle-East and South-East Asia (some rumors says  that these event will be aired on the big European TV Channels: Canal+ & Eurosport).

As always, this edition features some great Muay Thai and Kickboxing international names, such as: Dzianis Zuev, Pong Thong, Superbon Banchamek, Khayal Dzhaniev, Miyakoshi Soichiro & Jonay Risco.

Rivalry and admiration between Mathias Gallo Cassarino and Rungravee Sasiprapa is an old thing. In fact, when he was just a boy, Mathias used to admire him on Channel 7, his aggressiveness was scary. He saw him win at least two CH7 stadium titles.

The first time, Mathias fought Rungravee (Buakaws cousine) in a Banchamek Promotions event at their home town, Surin.
The result of the fight (Video) was a Draw, which in Thailand and in the opponents home town means alot for Mathias. Everyone talks about this fight which was announced on the Muay Siam front cover and than in France, where Mathias still wasn’t very known, on the prestigious “Budo” Magazine.

The Thais didn’t want the re-match between a young Farang which destroys with his low kicks all Farangs who are put in front of him, and at home where Rungravee never lost to a foreigner.
The occasion comes with the new event “The Circle”, in which Team Italy is called to defend their home country against Team Thailand, from where. Mathias this time was promoted by Fight1, flys from Thailand to Spain, together with the components of the Thai team, to join the rest of the Italian team and compete against the strong Thais.

Friends outside the ring but fierce on the ring until the last second.

Last 12 Dec 2015, Mathias achieved another dream: beating that “machine”, dangerous Thai champion who he used to watch on TV as a kid, and he did it on the ring of The Circle in Barcelona.

The last time we saw the young Thai ace Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong fighting on one of the most famous international Kickboxing circuit, the Glory World Series, was on 6th November 2015, during the 25th edition of the series, that took place in Monza (Card); in this edition Sitthichai faced, in a superfight, the well known Dutch Kickboxer Robin Van Roosmalen.

This fight, won by RVR by points, has been much criticized by the international audience and experts, because for many it was “stolen“.

We didn’t expected to see the young Thai ace returning on Glory’s rings after this little time and especially after this big disappointment, but eventually he’ll be competing in the Lightweight 4-man Tournament (-70kg) that will take place during Glory 28 Paris on March 12, 2016.

There are not many details about the tournament, but rumors say that Sitthichai will face, in the first semifinal, the well known Georgian kickboxer Davit Kiria, who has already been defeated by him (KO R2) at Glory 22, on 5th June 2015 (Video).

We want you to remember that recently (23rd Januray 2016) Sittichai won the Kunlun Fight World Max 2015 (-70kg) Tournament, defeating in one night the Thai Superbon Banchamek and the Ukrainian Enriko Gogokhia (Video).

The Glory’s 28th edition card features some great international Kickboxing names, such as Rico Varhoeven, Murtel Groenhart, Amrani etc, and also 3 Glory’s title fights (Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight and Featherweight).

The 38th edition of the great Chinese Kickboxing event Kunlun Fight organized in collabroation of the Thai ace Buakaw Banchamek’s event, the Super Muay Thai, will take place on Sunday, 21st February 2016; the location is not the usual Muay Thai stadium, in fact the event will take place at Pattaya’s Indoor Athletics Stadium (Thailand), same place where around 1,5 years ago, Buakaw left the ring before the 4th round (extra round, 3 + 1) during the K1 World Max 2014 final, against the German Enriko Kehl (News – Video).

Another important fight for Mathias Gallo Cassarino in one of Bangkok’s top events at the moment, promoted by Buakaw himself.

In fact, the Italian pride Mathias ‘7 Muay Thai’ will compete in Super Muay Thai‘s next event (live on Workpoint Channel) that will take place on Sunday (28th February 2016).

Mathias will face the aggressive and strong Thai Veerachai Meenayothin, winner of the Bayon TV Tournament (Cambodia); Veerachai is 177 cm tall and fights at 63,00kg, and is one of the training partners of the Thai ace Aikpracha.

In the same event, defending ‘7 Muay Thai Gym’ name, the Spanish Carlos Coello Canales will compete in the 4 Man tournament. Carlos, alongside Mathias, is one of 7 Muay Thai Gym (Rayong) top fighters and present in the Muay Thai world’s ranking.

An intense and exciting event, the one of yesterday night (25/02/2016) held at the legendary Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok, and organized by the “OneSongchai” promotion.
In the main event fought the 2 Thai aces: Sangmanee Sor Tienpo vs Thanonchai Thanakorn; a nice match fought without stops. During the 2nd round Thanonchai cutted his opponent and even with a big cut Sangmanee fought with great heart for the victory that he coulnd’t achieve.
Also a great fight was the one of Thaksinlek vs Seksan, won by points by Seksan, who counted his opponent during the 3rd round; great heart also by Thaksinlek who was able to recover and finish the fight.

Train in Thailand at “7 Muay Thai Gym” with the best pro fighters 

“7 Muay Thai” Gym in Rayong (Thailand) will launch a new interesting initiative for all Muay Thai fighters.

In fact, during the period between March and June 2016, the camp will assign scholarships, with the goal of letting young talents to train in Thailand and grow in this sport.

7MT Gym is managed by staff with over 30 years of experience, and its team is composed by athletes who are top ranked in the WPMF rankings (World Professional Muay Thai Federation).
Mathias Gallo Cassarino, is the team leader and an example for those who travel to Thailand to seek success in Muay Thai.

7MT has decided to provide these scholarships, as they believe that, with some economic and logistic help new champions can be made, who will able to compete in the most suggestive Thai and international events.

Rules to enter the Thai camp’s “7 Muay Thai Gym” team of fighters

Candidates selections for 7 Muay Thai’s Nak Muays (professional Muay Thai fighters) will be held startting from March to June 2016, with the following rules:

• The interested students must submit their resume, photos and at least 1 fight or training video to the camp’s email: 7muaythaigym@gmail.com
• After being selected, the students/athletes must participate (at their own expenses) in a training/formation period, which works also as selection, under the 7MuayThai Gym technical staff responsibility.

Special prices for Nak Muays (fighters) is indicated in the Gym’s website, offers are valid for a period of at least 4 weeks: Info

• The students/athletes who will succeed, will definitely become components of the team and will receive the scholarship; which covers all the training and accommodation expenses.  Food, visa and all personal expenses are not covered. 
• The scholarships are annual and can be renewed every year based of the fighter’s fighting journey of the first year.

The length of stay can be changed if discussed in advance, and with valid reasons.

A training kit provided by “Leone1947″ brand will be given to the first 6 selected athletes.

The announcement will be published on April’s edition of the Italian magazine SAMURAI.

A great battle fought by two Muay Thai purists and won by the young athlete PTT Petchrungruang (who’s trained by Arjan Pee Nu and F.Cinti).
